The third edition of India Music Summit was held in Jaipur in October. It was a pleasure to be a part of this unique music festival that was a melting pot of performing arts of every genre. Organised by Musiconcepts, India Music Summit aims to exhibit India’s diverse and rich musical heritage under one roof through discussions, debates, and workshops.
It was great to see how the event allowed a fully immersive experience by bridging the distance between musicians and music aficionados, in place of the usual concert performances like at most music festivals.
On Day 2 of India Music Summit, I performed in a segment named – Musafir: A Journey through India. It was a pleasure to perform in front of such an enthusiastic audience. Later that morning I also participated in an exciting talk – The Mean Scene – along with Pop and Rap stars Prab Deep, Raja Kumari, Nucleya, Aditya Kasyap, and RJ Sarthak.
You can watch snippets of both the events in the videos below.
On the other two days of IMS2019, I participated as a member of the audience along with a lot of other musicians and artists of all experiences, from genres including Classical, Ghazal, Folk, Sufi, Bollywood, Indie, Contemporary and many more.
