A little while ago, I performed at a virtual concert organised by The Akshaya Patra Foundation. It was amazing to perform for and interact with my dear rasikas virtually.
The funds raised through this virtual event are being used to serve freshly cooked meals or packed grocery kits to daily wage workers, migrant labourers, construction site workers, needy people at old age homes, night shelters and other marginalised and low-income segments of our society.
The Akshaya Patra Foundation is also the world’s largest NGO school meal provider. During these terrible times where the world is battling COVID19, the Akshaya Patra Foundation has taken up the great responsibility to try and provide food to as many people as possible. I am incredibly grateful to be able to be a part of this noble cause.
